The world's largest luxury ro-ro passenger ship MOBY FANTASY built by CSSC departed from Guangzhou to provide services along the Mediterranean route between Genoa, Olbia and Livorno. The ship is owned by MOBY Lines from Italy, a participant of the Belt and Road Initiative.

MOBY FANTASY has a displacement of over 70,000t and a speed of around 23.5kn. It has 13 decks and 533 rooms that can hold 2,500 passengers and nearly 800 cars. The restaurants and recreational sites onboard, which occupy about 6,700m², are comparable to those of luxury liners.

MOBY FANTASY is an example of China and Italy, who are at both ends of the ancient Silk Road, advancing the B&R Initiative, highlighting the sharing of Chinese solutions. Achille Onorato, general manager of MOBY Lines, said that it embodies the friendship between two countries.
